1017

They closed the Academic Oval again.

I think it's to accomodate all the rallies that are about to happen. UP's a mess right now. A big mess. The whole unversity is in a rigid fighting stance*. Everyone's bracing for a storm that may or may not come. All the teachers are spending the first 30 minutes of their class discussing 1017 and Friday.

My Social Psych teacher assured us graduating students that we're gonna graduate one way or another. They're gonna make us graduate whether we like it or not. I remember Ma'am Marcelino reminiscing about Martial Law days. She mentioned that when the things hit the fan, UP gave Pass or Fail grades. My dream come true.

So, student's walked out of class again today, although it was a rather late 4pm walkout instead of the usual 12 noon. And, the Council just announced that UP is NOT in a state of national emergency. And to try the waters, a few gigantic mobilizations will probably happen in the campus and inch outward until it finally reaches EDSA or Plaza Miranda or somewhere geopolitically explosive.

Fun!

PASS OR FAIL!!!
But it'll probably not happen.

* Southpaw. UP's a leftie.
